The importance of diligent and thorough prior infertility work-up to successful outcome of fertility treatments cannot be overemphasized. As one of the initial steps in infertility work-up, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy for diagnosis and treatments are important procedures to view and treat ovarian, tubal, uterine and endometrial cavity pathologies. Such pathologies includes ovarian cysts, hydrosalpinx, intramural/submucous fibroids, endometrial polyps, Asherman’s syndrome, adhesion ridges and septal defects. For my antenatal visits, care and scans, when I compare your level of detail to that of the other hospital, you were tops and at par with what the Americans are doing.
